These are the three books i currently read to learn more on sewing and patterns.

Bought this at Eaton's bookstore in Karamunsing complex, K. Kinabalu. Quite pricey at RM65. But it looks really interesting.

How to do smocking - not sure i'll able to follow this in the near future. 

Some tute on Applique too. Might try it (one fine day)
