I've been wanting to try my hands at crocheting but years ago, the only shape i could come up with was the long chains which never materialised into anything nice. Then I came across a book in the local library which visualises the technique clearly. It's so simple that even a beginner like me was able to comprehend. So, I decided to give crochet a try.

Finally, I managed to crochet a simple flower pattern. |

Then, encouraged from an FB friend who shared a pattern with me, I made my very own baby beanie hat. (It's not that perfect though). |

But I did it!! That's the real joy of all these. Now I'm hooked. :-)
A real challenge for me is to find the right yarn and hook size. I'm still quite clueless in this area. Will continue to discover more on this area. |
